We are excited to share with you our first EF branded project the EpicForged™ DART Mini Pocket Thrower Flashlight, a high-powered, rechargeable flashlight that provides up to 106 hours of light and is reliable enough for law enforcement but designed for everyone looking for a small every day carry flashlight with an exceptionally long beam throw that you just have to see to believe!

New International Shipping Policy 🌐
And finally, we wanted to talk about our new International Shipping Policy. After shipping thousands of international packages across several campaigns, we have experienced longer than normal shipping times and an increase in lost/stolen shipments going to certain International countries.
The following international countries are now considered HIGH-RISK:
Austria, Brazil, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Norway, Philippines, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine, and United Arab Emirates
HIGH-RISK means that a package is more likely to get lost or stolen and/or take a very long time (several months to arrive). We understand that this may not be applicable to other creators here on Kickstarter but we felt it is important to mention that it has affected our campaigns personally, we suggest backers of ours from these countries choose a more reliable service such as FedEx International Priority Mail. FedEx shipping upgrade will be made available on BackerKit as an ADD-ON at the end of all our campaigns moving forward. Please be sure to read our latest and more detailed Shipping Policy section that will be on the campaign page of all or our projects moving forward.
Still waiting for your ION reward? 🤔
Although we have completed the shipping phase of our ION project (at least for those backers with successfully completed BackerKit Surveys), there are a handful of backers who have not yet received ION due to incomplete surveys, or it has been lost or stolen. If you have not yet received your ION reward and you are sure that you have completely filled out your BackerKit Survey here: https://ion.backerkit.com. Please send us a private message here on Kickstarter and we will assist you directly. If we find that your package is lost or stolen, you will be given an option for a re-shipment, re-shipment with optional upgrade to FedEx, or a refund (you will also be asked to fill out an affidavit claim form required by our International Consolidator before moving forward). Please do not leave a public comment regarding where your shipment is as we will need to ask you to confirm sensitive information that should not be publicly displayed as a comment (e.g. your full name, email address, and shipping address, etc.)

2nd batch of ION has arrived! Shipping phase almost complete

Hey Backers,
Just checking in to let everyone know that as of today, we have packaged up an additional 414 international orders that have been on hold. Last month when our first batch of flashlights arrived, it only accounted for 2,000 flashlights. We had to wait for our manufacturing partner to finish the 2nd and final batch of flashlights and send that over to us. It took approx. 4 weeks to get them but we are happy to say we are now able to get back on the shipping grind!
Our International Consolidator came by over the weekend to pick up the 414 orders and are now being sorted at their facility. Once they are sorted, they will be scanned in and you will be able to track it online. International backers who have been patiently waiting for their tracking to update online should be able to track it online at www.ppxtrack.com by next Monday, August 9th (this gives them a full week to sort). If you are a backer with a completed BackerKit Survey and are without a tracking number update online by August 9th, please send us a message with your full name, email address, and shipping address so we can assist you.
Note: If you are an international backer, please use www.ppxtrack.com to track your package for the first few days/weeks. As your package begins to make movement through the shipping network and it lands in your country, it will be able to be tracked on www.usps.com as well. This is because our consolidator is a major partner with the United States Postal Service.
Locating Your Tracking Number 🔎
If you are absolutely sure you have completed your BackerKit Survey but have not yet received a tracking number at all by email, you can find the tracking number on your BackerKit Survey Confirmation Page. You simply need to log back into your BackerKit Survey and click on View Confirmation button:

Unanswered BackerKit Surveys ❌
There are 149 backers who have not answered their BackerKit Surveys at all. We have sent out numerous invitations and reminders without a response. If you have not yet logged into BackerKit to provide us your shipping address, please go to https://ion.backerkit.com and enter in your Kickstarter email address to begin. A special invitation link will be emailed to you where you will be able to browse add-ons, confirm your pledge reward, and most importantly provide us your shipping address so we know where to ship your order when it is time.
Messages and Comments 💬
If by August 9th you do not see tracking number movement online, please leave us a private message and not a comment. We are no longer responding to questions regarding shipping/tracking numbers in the comments section because it is public and to verify your pledge we usually need to ask you to confirm your full name, backer number, email address, and/or in some cases your shipping address. Please also do not leave multiple messages and comments of the same question as it can add more delay to the customer service queue. 🙏

We are happy to announce that we will be locking down BackerKit Surveys and moving into the shipping phase soon. The first batch of ION flashlights have arrived to us! 🤗 If you have not already answered your BackerKit Survey, please follow the instructions below.
BACKERKIT INSTRUCTIONS 📓
IMPORTANT: You must use BackerKit to confirm your rewards, add-ons, and shipping addresses. Without this information, we can't send your rewards! You should have already received an invitation email from BackerKit. If you haven’t received an email, please follow the steps 1 & 2 below. Everyone else will start at step 3.
1. Go to https://ion.backerkit.com
2. Enter the email address you use for your Kickstarter account. You must use this email address because it's connected to your pledge for ION. BackerKit will then send you an email with a special link to your survey.
3. BackerKit will ask you a few questions to confirm your reward, such as your shipping country and address.
4. Accessories + Additional IONs: We have filled BackerKit with add-on options, including flashlights, KLIPs, and more! Anything you add that is more than your original pledge amount can be charged to a credit card through the PayPal Checkout option. All items you add will be part of one shipment!
5. Most importantly, please carefully review your shipping address and phone number. We need your confirmed shipping address information to move forward. You are welcome to change your address anytime, but we need you to confirm your current, complete address now. We’ll send a final notice 48 hours before shipping starts so you can double-check and make any last-minute changes.
Once you're all checked out, you are ready to receive your rewards! We will update you with tracking information as we get closer to our delivery dates.

We are scheduled to begin shipping the first batch of ION flashlights in July. It may take us the entire month of July to complete the first shipping phase due to our small team. We will start by shipping those backers who opted to purchase the USPS Priority Mail or FedEx International Priority shipping upgrade ADD-ON that is on BackerKit. We will then ship everyone else by backer pledge number (starting with the earliest backer).
Note: We actually started to print shipping labels and sent out pre-shipment notification emails yesterday! Some of you may have received an email with a tracking number. If you did, that means you completed your BackerKit Survey correctly and will be ready to receive rewards in July.
PRE-SHIPMENT NOTIFICATION EMAILS 📧

BackerKit "Smoke Test" on the way!

SMOKE TEST COMING 🌬️
Our BackerKit setup and approval process took longer than expected but we are happy to say that we are sending out a Smoke Test tonight! A smoke test is where we send out invitations to 5% of backers from each reward level before sending it out to everyone else. This allows us to see if there are any issues with the BackerKit Survey that needs to fixed beforehand.
OFFICIAL INVITATIONS
Tentatively, all remaining invitations are planned to go out tomorrow Tuesday, June 15th by 7PM PST. This gives us about a day to monitor activity.
